About Me

Chief Homemaking Officer (CHO) | Future-Saint Instructor | Extremely Confident Catholic | Steadily Progressing Critical Thinker | Still-Loved Sinner

I love being a mom and I love being home with my babies. This is who God created me to be and what he created me to do, of that there’s no doubt, but every day is still a challenge. My children are all very young and I struggle to find a hobby that works around the demands of my family and serves as a non-stressful way to be creative and use my brain. I like to think and I like to write, so here we are!

If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. – 2 Corinthians 11:30

The goal of this blog is not to show off my super aesthetically pleasing home and family and pretend like my life is sunshine and rainbows or that I know everything. This is a place for me to reflect on all the thoughts and experiences that come with being a Trying-My-Best Christian and mom to small children in a truthful, raw, hilarious, embarrassing, heartbreaking, healing, hopeful and joyful way.

This is a place where YOU can come to hear stories just like your own- all the messy details included- and find comfort in knowing you’re not alone, and courage to do it again tomorrow.

I prefer to keep this site anonymous. Not because I plan on saying crazy things that will make people upset, but because I’m not seeking recognition. I just want to talk about life things without any pressure. All the blogging and social media experts will say that you absolutely need to post about yourself to create a personal connection with your audience, but I’ll be sharing many details you didn’t ask for, so I don’t think it will feel impersonal at all.

Think of it like a random journal full of funny ramblings and heartfelt stories that you happened to stumble upon, but nobody ever signed their name.

Love,

——
